Backers of immigration initiative confident proposal will appear on ballot KVOA, Tucson, May 5, 2004 Organizers of an initiative aimed at preventing illegal immigrants from receiving government services said Wednesday that they are confident that the issue will appear on the November ballot. The Protect Arizona NOW group has gathered roughly half the petition signatures needed to let voters decide the issue, said state Rep.
