Protect Arizona NOW is a non-partisan association of Arizonans from all walks of life. We've seen our state increasingly burdened by the negative effects of illegal aliens coming to this state against the laws of our country. We the taxpayers have been forced to pay for expensive benefits given away to illegal aliens. Often these benefits are denied to our own citizens. Is it right that veterans who sacrificed for us to defend our Constitution are denied medical care they can't afford; but an illegal alien, whose first and continuing act is to violate our laws, is carried on the backs of taxpayers? We believe enough has been TOO MUCH and we intend to set things right rather than sit idly by. WHO SUPPORTS PAN ?
Several recent
Polls including a recent KAET TV/ASU Poll show that the
people of Arizona support Protect Arizona NOW. KAET-TV (PBS in Phoenix)
and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at
ASU took polls between September 18-21, 2003. Results were: These people support PAN. It
would be unconscionable for
us to support someone who opposes us. If you have strong feelings about some of the other propositions, at least please be aware of the fact that if Propositions 101 and 104 were laws, they would have made it practically impossible for Protect Arizona NOW to get started, much less have a chance at winning against the power-brokers and big bucks. The Poll showed: Rural voters (83%), self-identified conservatives (85%), independents (83%) and Republicans (83%) were most supportive of the measure, most likely to vote (85%). This means that those voters with an opinion support us! PAN is a winner!
